Cinema Paradiso had singer S. P. Balasubramanium walk through its exclusive Walk of fame in Chennai, on the occasion of its second anniversary on July 13.
The DVD rental chain honoured him as `a singer with few parallels, an actor par excellence, an established director and an amicable producer'.
The others to leave their imprints include Kamal Hassan, Mani Ratnam, K Balachandar, writer Sujatha, Santosh Sivan, K. Vishwanath, Girish Kasaravalli, Nagarjuna and Venkatesh.
The second anniversary was an occasion for the customers to celebrate too since on that day the store lent out the DVDs free.
The commercial movies and the discs with popular serials such as "Friends" and "Sex in the City", which are comparatively more expensive, had the most number of takers. More than 600 titles were rented out that day.
