My heartiest congratulations to Shri SPB on being honoured with prestigious Padmashree Award. I feel that he should have been awarded Bharat Ratna soon after Shankarabharnam film. Padmashree Award has come to him very late. It is really great honour to this great music legend and to the Indian music.

I pray the almighty that he should continue to sing more melodious songs in the years to come.

I respect Balu and Love his Voice , but unfortunatly i could see him as a Most Egoist personallity which i have witnessed in one of the shows in USA.

I think Balu got to be re reminded about " Ahham Bhramaoosmi"

i don't have words to express about this wonderful human being. though many people talk about his talents and stuff in singing, i admire to the most his humbleness. nobody can see such a pleasing personality ever in the world. i can place him next to mother teresa.. of course i love his songs to the most and i am a devotee of this god.. shocked?? yes. some of our friends treat him us our god and daily pray before his picture at our house and then only continue our daily routine. I am an ardent fan of yours since 1970 my age was just 12. I want to hear from you some of the songs which will become very famous (like your Shiva Sthothrams) Manthrapushpam, Hanumaan Chaleesa, ShriSuktham , Purusha Suktham, etc When you sing these songs, People(some) will know that these exists and some really enjoy and learn them. In every house you can see these cassettes just as now most of them has Gantasala cassettes like Bhagavedgita , Pious Songs like Seshasaila vaasa, Mukkotti Devatallu.., Naderaye Ye Jaamullo.., Dinakara Subhakara.. , are very thrilling even if you listen daily.
