Ilayaraja. I do like ARR songs as well. But nothing to beat the SPB+IR

melody and touch of feelings inherent in SPB's songs never will appear in

unforgettable. It just cannot be said whether Illayaraja came out

To Partiban & other SPB fans,
That CD's title is "Phadatha phadellam phadii vhitha spb" it contain about
14 songs which has originally sang by other singers like, Jeyachandran,
Harriharan, mano,A.R.R, I.Raja and more. SPB selected best songs from each
of these singers and sang by himself really well then the original songs.
It a fantastic idea by SPB. I think this CD is available world wide,
please check your local video library.I think we can pay for this CD 10

we need all SPB's songs to be available on line, I know it is a huge task,
but can be achieved, some other websites states, that SPBji has sung over
40,000 songs, but this site says, 35,000 which is wrong. Kind request, can

There are some glaring defects in the
website about SPBS. First of all the articals included in Press Review
section are monotonous and insipid. Every reporter had exactly the same

of intelligence. The quality of this section must be improved. Moreover,
there should also be press articals about the vocalist from 70's and 80's
as well (not just from late 90's). English Translation of Telugoo and
Kannara articals about Bala Subramanyam must be included. The second stark
defect is the absence of any authenticated statistics about SPBS. One
journalist states his debut year to be '66, the other to be 63. Matters
such as his debut song, debut film etc should be inquired from SP himself
or from an authenticated researcher/statistician, and not from any
journalist. One reporter 'informs' the total number of songs involving SP
Subramanyam's voice to be 35 thousand, and another something else. Now
instead of relying on arbitrary guesses of the journalists, it would be
better to compile the lists of ALL the movie-songs that were released in
Telugu, Kannara and Tamil languages, every year from the early 60's to,
for example, late 90's. It is a painstaking task, no doubt. Yet it is the
only way to get anywhere close to the total of songs that involved
Subramanyam as a singer. Another shortcoming is that it seems you never
give importance to the visitors comments. In your guest log section many
visitors since the year 2000 have demanded that some of the sublimest of
SPB songs be made available online, or at least there should be some lists
of some of his exceptional songs. But this suggestion, it seems, has been
ignored by you. I hope that the suggestions given above would not be
ignored by you. Wainting for your response at the earliest possible.

SPB is the only person who imrovises
on stage. Rest of the singers just repeat how it is in the original. I
have been desperately trying to get a recording (video or audio) of his
stage performance. I have been trying for years without success. Can
