The wonderful day in every fan's life who attended that function y'day. No one can forget the moments till their last breath. What a day !
HATS OFF TO WEBMASTER.
Without him nothing would have happened. What a commitment ? He just neglected his official meeting for this gr8 event.
If he is like this, then just think about that gr8 gr8 gr8 legend. Iam just saying it from my heart, no one can become like our SPB. May be some may try to get 50% of his singing talent, but not the modesty, the humbleness, the love and affection he is having over the fans. He is saying "I should be greatful to you, as you have spent so much of effort and time in this". [No Sir, Not at all. V r having a gr8 pleasure in doing such things].
Iam really praying to God that a same event of this kind with full of emotions and love should happen again for the other fans too who missed this amazing event. God should really make all of us to meet again. Definitely we all are going to meet that gr8 legend again. No worries.
What a man he is ! He just even not looked in to his watch for that 4 hrs. Though we planned just for 1 to 11/2 hrs. program, it went about 4hrs.
Baluji entered just 10 minutes late, for which he apologized 3 times. Is that needed from a World Hero. No, No, Not at all. But still one who behaves like this is a proper cultured man. Our SPB is undoubtedly a cultured and amazing Human Being.
Iam trying to compress my words, but I can't. I stop with this. Else I will burst out.
We all should be prepared to celebrate his greatest 40th year in the Film Industry. We all should pray for him regularly for his health and also for his honey sweet voice.
Note: I hope, hereafter no criticisms will come about the admin side from few fans, as it came last time when the same plan was dropped. It's not possible to arrange a meeting of this type every time. But still this time Webmaster really did it [Some people might not know, what kind of efforts he has taken for this]. Adminstration is a big area. Persons involved in that kind of work, really know the pressure in that. So we all should stop criticising the Admin, if something goes wrong.
Please forgive me, If I have crossed my limt. Sorry Sorry Sorry.

It shall contain the recent hits songs. That is the only way you can satisfy every hungry spb fans. the songs of illayaraja still fills our ears not only because of his music but also because of your voice.The tragedy in tamil film music is that the music directors and the actors themselves start singing the songs which is very hoarse to the ears and they cannot even sing one line at at stretch. Without you the tamil film music has reached ever time low. |

7/18/2004 | Anupama, Somehow, what u said doesn't seem to be correct. Sri is supposed to be pronounced as Shri only and Balu sir himself told this once and he started pronouncing this after consulting a number of Sanskrit pundits. Only in this particular case the letter would be pronounced as Shri.

In that progam everybody sang so sweetly and present singers like Kausalya, Smita bloomed out of that program. I do not know whether the recorded episodes of that program are avilable any where but want to request Sri SP to start some project of this kind for the present generation. |

I have heard that SPB is very simple and down to earth person.
I pay to Lord Balaji to give SPB & their family a long and healthy life.

Iam really very happy to inform you all that I met Balu sir with my 2
friends last Saturday at around 9:15am and we were chatting about present
music trend, answered all the questions we asked and told his experience
with the great musicians like M.S.V. sir, Ilayaraja sir etc., for about 45
minutes. Really as we thought he might have some work, we voluntarily
stopped the conversation by requesting him to take a photograph with us. I
gave the cassette with my song and requested him to listen to it. He
promised me that he will do it. We started by 10:00am from there. Really a
very remarkable 45mins. for me and my friends to spend with the great
Legend. How modest he is?. Really so humble... We have to learn lots of
things from him and also if we want to learn the dedication towards our
profession, then the right person we have to look for is Balu Sir. I gave
the rare foto of Balu sir which I sent to you all and got the autograph from
him in that foto. He was surprised to see that foto
as it was taken during 60's.
