Subtle, stylish and sensible voice rendering... Precisely I'ld like to express my opinion about SPB Sir in these words! A singer of versatility is amidst us. We are indeed proud to live in his days. Many-a-time I've been mesmerised by his mellifluous voice and for the sensible variations while repeating the lines of pallavi or so. In voice rendering he puts so much of engineering, manouvering and what not? Hats off to you SPB Sir! I've a repertoire of many of his good numbers. I am not bothered about the well-known songs of SPB - but the ones which are went unseen, not-recognised by many...say 'unsung' songs! I wanted to write an extraordinary compliment about this legend. Couldn't find anything un-used for him, so far. SPB has acquired all the fame and should be thanked for the continuity of the excellent flow of music for the film world for abt 4 decades and on, after the demise of Lt.Mr. Ghantasala. But now, noone can let the flow go on as stronger as SPB did. Its unfortunate that he is not offered these days.,but its ok as he is ahead of Fame, recognition, etc. Its not his bad time but its the industry's and our (fans) bad time that we are not able to hear him.

Is there any singer all over the world, so versatile like SP BALU; the divine voice can only be matched by his counterpart KJ YESUDOSS and both the singers had done yeomen service to music; it is sad that SP BALU hadn't concentrated much in carnatic music and I hope that he will devote some time in the future as YESUDOSS and excel there too. I'm 41 yrs old man living in chennai.I'm the strong fan of Dr.SPB from my child hood.My wife,daughter,my sister,brother & my daughter all are the fans of SPB.My mother used to say he did so much of 'punniyam' in his previous birth as he got this melodious voice like honey as per our hindu beleif.I bow to respected SPB sir & I will be so greatful if the fan club let me know through email the information of his concerts in chennai.I fond of seeing his live concerts.I dont have age to Wish him I BOW HIM.....

I may find words to describe YOU... but not your songs.. especially the songs which you sung for our SuperStar Rajini.
The song "oru pon maanai naan kaana" from mythili en kaadali, "satham illada thanimai kaetaen" from amarkalam, "mannil indha kaada inri" from kaeladi kanmani are the extra ordinary performance.

I am your fan since 3rd standard. i used to listen you by radio & I was surprised that day ( primery school time ) , how s.p can sing once at a time in three stations ( Mangalore, bangalore , srilankha ). Dont laugh at me i had no idea at the age of 10 years that it is recorded songs .
I like your voice because you gotyour own style ofcourse Yyou are m.Rafi's fan. Like mohd.rafi you try to put emtions so that actores need not put much effort . I am always sits infront of T.V when " ede tumbihaduvenu" starts. Some time you disappoints me when you are not singing at the last of program.I think Once you have sung mohd Rafi's song
I am very surprised why indian government is not considering you for awards like " padmabushan " ,"dadasahebh" .Is it only for north peoples or are they neglecting south indians .

I am a great fan of Balu; his sweet, melodious voice has no comparison.Hearty congratulations on his completing 39 vasantams in cine music. I look forward to a glorious 50 year celebration of pan-Indian singing by SPB.
Telugu and Tamil music is poorer with his singing fewer songs. This should be reversed.
